Promene, promene i na kraju PROMENE!!!
Svedoci smo radikalnih promena u svetu sporta. Krenuvši od fudbala( ako njega uopšte više možemo nazivati sportom), preko kod nas sve popularnijeg tenisa, dođemo tako i do moje omiljene teme za razmišljanje i razgovor. Zašto baš košarka, šta fali, recimo, fudbalu? Ili odbojci? Ne, nemam konkretan i jak razlog, ali imam milion malih, možda i nebitnih, ali meni dovaljnih da zanemarim sve ostalo.
Dakle, promene. Stariji se sećaju vremena kada se košarkaška strategija svodila na: trči-šutni. Od nastanka igre ovaj period bio je najduži. Nicali su veliki klubovi, rađale se zvezde, osvajali trofeji. Zauzeta je dobra pozicija u svetu sporta i počele su da se javljaju ideje o napretku same igre. Izmenjena su neka pravila, ali još važnije, izmenjeno je razmišljanje i pogled na samu igru. Tada su došle dve nezaboravne decenije. Igralo se za publiku, tečno ili lepršavo svejedno, ali onako kako mi to volimo. Publika zapravo nije ni znala šta voli, ali je odmah prepoznala "pravu stvar" i počela da je obožava. Radjali su se igrači, kao i ranije, ali vreme je stvorilo zvezde, superzvezde. Divila se naša publika( mislim na srpsku) Larry Bird-u, Johnson-u, Jordan-u; volela Divca, Đorđevića, Danilovića. Ali zavolela je igru, to je najveći produkt toga vremena, zavolela je misaonu igru koja je tada nastala.
A onda je došlo vreme za nove promene, neočekivane i bespotrebne, ali neizbežne. Sve je krenulo sa pojavom zvanom "Michael Jordan". Jeste bio najbolji, jeste ostavio neizbrisiv trag, gledaoci su se osećali privilegovano dok su ga gledali( nisam imao tu čast, tek sam se ispilio tada, ali čuo sam gomile priča i sve su govorile isto). Ali njegova pojava imala je kontraproduktivan efekat na buduće igrače, na nove superzvezde. Svi su želeli da budu kao Michael, želeli su da "lete", i krenuli da se razvijaju u tom pravcu. Šta smo time dobili? Atletiku pod obručima koju danas gledamo u NBA-u, a koja je počela da zahvata i EUROLEAGUE BASKETBALL. Gledam ih samo sve, skaču, istežu se, šutiraju, raznorazne vratolomije izvode, ali niko od njih ne preti da ozbiljno ugrozi kralja.
Ovo će trajati sve dok nekome ne padne na pamet nešto novo, naizgled bolje, a mi ćemo ponovo biti svedoci promena koje ćemo moći da kritikujemo ili hvalimo, u zavisnosti od ukusa.

Promene su normalne, i da promena nema igra bi postala dosadna. Postoje mnoga košarkaška pravila koje bi igrači najradije izbacili. Tu pre svega mislim na pravilo polaska u dribling koje limitira brzinu igre. promene se prave radi usavršavanja igre i dovođenja iste na što viši nivo. Što se tiče atletičara pod obručima, mogu samo da kazem da ova igra ne bi bila toliko popularna da nije njih. I sigurno je da što je veća fizička sprema igrača, viši je kvalitet košarke.
"što je veća fizička sprema igrača, viši je kvalitet košarke" - apsolutno se slazem. A ako cemo o "atleticarima" ne kazem da ih treba izbaciti, i oni su de sistema, vec da daleko vise cenim "znalce" i igrace sa prirodnim talentom, a ne "napumpane" vestacke ljude.
